BARBERA D'ALBA DOC SUPERIORE
From our most ancient vineyards, both the traditional Barbera D’Alba, as well as its Superior version, are obtained from Barbera grapes through a medium-long maceration.
The rigorous selections of bunches, allow us to diminish quantity but definitely increasing the quality.

AGEING
To obtain the “Superior”, the Barbera is refined for at least 4 months in French tonneaux and big oak barrels
ORGANOLEPTIC FEATURES
After a minimum of four months of ageing in big oak barrels, this wine releases an intense red with purplish tendency. The scent is vinous with hints of red fruits and the taste is balanced and persistent, with pronounced acidity and a tannin richness

We deal with the most delicate phase of the grapes growing through our farm LE VIGNE DEL GENERALE, run by the fifth generation. The latter realizes new ideas developed in the last few years, applying a more original and responsible approach to the grapes growing.
After the grapes' selection and manual harvest, we use temperature controlled vinification techniques.
Slowly, we monitor the magnificent and natural phenomenon of fermentation.
Through modern interpretations of the most ancient traditions, we age our cru in big Slavonian oak barrels.
Red, white and rosé are constantly improved and aimed at a unique sensorial pleasure, which makes people feel well when it comes to be reunited with souls and conviviality.
